Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary, India probably holds one of the highest concentration of wild rhinos in the world (about hundred of them within 16 sq km) and hemmed in from all sides by villages, they share the habitat with the village cows, goats and people. The situation is alarming but yet shows the somewhat harmonious existence of humans with wildlife. Efforts are on to sensitize the area but easier said than done.
