It is funny but usually before and after I get the shots I kind of mentally ask for "permission" and at the end I give the thanks to the animals and take my time to look at them, on this case I spend a couple of minutes eye contact with him before the shot, he felt relaxed and not menaced by my camera and then I got the shot. He is such a character and so glad that I got all that on his portrait. Have a wonderful day!!!
