The leopardess "Madonina" granted me this window of opportunity as the foliage opened slightly enabling me this strategic capture of her hunting Impala one early drizzly morning. She had only recently parted from her mother and now it was time for her to hunt larger prey, she was unsuccessful on this occasion, but her luck changed later in the week ;)

Ruaha Nat Park- Tanzania.

Nikon D4s Nikkor 400 f/2.8E FL VR  1/500s f/4  ISO5600

 Slight crop, and dark vignette.

Cheers

Really great shot. The framing pulls you right into the animal. Very well seen.
