While laying and waiting for ducks this river otter popped up in front of me. I'm sure he was wondering what the heck I was doing. A nice little bonus while waiting.

Just gorgeous- the low perspective gives such silky smooth water which sets off the otter perfectly. Lovely soft light too. Really like this one.

Beautifully done Bill!  You certainly made the most of this unexpected sighting and the result is a superb image of this wonderful species.  You should visit our Wildlife gallery more often, you're most welcome.  :)

A wonderful moment beautifully captured, the low POV and clean BG make this image for me Bill.

Awesome picture! And the angle...I bet the base of the lens hood was touching the water.

Beautiful setting, light and composition. Though it could be my particular monitor, I remember this animal as being a bit warmer in color. I wonder if selectively warming the animal itself (Lightroom adjustment brush or something similar) would be worth a try. Hope to see more.

Wow!  Fabulous image!  This has impact.  It has everything.  If I'm an editor, this is one of my picks. :)
