It looks very like a Calotes species - maybe a Green Calotes? also known as Garden Lizards. I might be totally wrong but lizards are fascinating and there are so many varieties. This is a very handsome individual Debapratim, and a superb image. Such fine detail. I would be very happy to have one of these beautiful creatures appear in front of me on the road!

Lovely image with amazing details... What do you think about cropping a bit more to eliminate all that empty space and give more protagonist to the lizard!!!

The patterns on this lizard are quite beautiful. I like this portrait giving us a close look at that detail, and the raised head giving the diagonal line makes a fine composition.
