European Badger Cub

This is a very confiding youngster, that lives on a beautiful English arable farm. I have spent the last week watching and photographing him going about his daily lives. He's not habituated in anyway, which makes this encounter that bit more satisfying.

D810, 50mm, ISO3200, 1/250th, f6.3.

I love this. Not every day you see such a wide angle view of a badger- and I guess you wouldn't really want that view of an adult... Love your low perspective and the way it's coming right at you, curious, investigating as a youngster would.

I love the perspective here... It is amazing that you were able to produce a shot of this species with a 50mm lens!
