I have been trying to get him for the last 5 years but every time he has successfully hid behind his harem. Nicknamed "Don" of Dibru Sakhowa National Park, India, he is the Alpha Male of a herd of almost 20 individuals. To get close, one needs to be on a wooden dinghy but every time he just showed the tips of his horns hiding behind his wives. This time I caught him unawares as he was entering the water.

Having all those ladies to look after he probably needs to cool down. A nice behaviour capture Pralay.

Persistence pays off. Nice eye-level perspective being in the boat.
