Taken at McNeil River State Game Sanctuary in July of 2002.

This bear was quite the swimmer- he also dove for salmon. Once he caught one, which was quite regularly, he ran, yes ran, away from the banks so that one of the more aggressive boars couldn't steal his fish. And it worked, he never lost a fish to another bear.

Of course after diving, you've just got to get that water out of your ears....

Very cool shot Tim. i love seeing and taking shots like this. I really like how you got the center of focus on the eye and the water droplets everywhere! The colors look great and I think the centered drop works well for this image. Way to go!

You get the prize for the most droplets of water in the motif picture.. Great post... These head shaker pictures are really cool, because somehow a great deal of the face remains pretty sharp.. Thanks for another great post.. Keep up the good work!

Wow this is really neat! I do like the fact the eye is the center of the shake.

Amen to Cheryl's comments. The eye still and the frozen droplets are great, as is the light blue water.

Tim, I don't think I've seen this one before and I love it. The sharp eye with water almost spiraling around the bear is very cool. The colors in the water are very nice too.
