When I arrived at the Klein Namutoni waterhole (Etosha NP, Namibia) one late afternoor, I saw this breeding herd of elephants as the were leaving after they had been drinking.
After maybe a hundred meters, the matriarch probably decided they hadn't had enough yet, and they all made their way back to the water again, allowing me some nice images.
The only thing that bothers me a bit about this image is the gradient color of the sky, what do you think?

Another nice one! I like the fact they are headed towards the camera a bit and even with the last elephant you can see the eye. The tones seem good to me! Neat how they are partially wet, too. Nice shot! :)

A wonderful shot. The sky doesn't bother me at all. The little baby and juvie out front are about as sweet as can be!

Wonderful light; love the earth tones of the elephants. Emphasis on the juveniles as well as the baby is a nice touch.

Who notices the sky when you have such great subjects? Very well done. I like the overall monochromatic tones.

This is a really great shot -- I like how the ones on the left are entering the frame.

Bart, this is great, especially with the nice light, partially wet animals, and the little ones in front. Your timing was perfect to get most of them mid-stride to show movement.

Very nice. I wouldn't have noticed the sky if you hadn't mentioned it. The tones are perfect.

I agree with the others, absolutely stunning shot.

I don't mind the gradient in the sky. At least not in this web shot.

Anyway, I made my mind up, the next time I go to Africa for wildlife viewing, I go to Namibia (and end up in the Kalahari)

Cheers mate
