Checking Scents

A Minnesota whitetail deer raises its head after scenting something on the ground this morning.
I thought he was going to "lip curl", but no luck. The little buck behind him smelled the spot after him and did the Flehmen Response two times.
Canon 1dMIII, Canon 500mm, f/4 ,1/125 sec., and 400 ISO.
