Hello NatureScapers...

This is a PH Antelope image made at Custer State Park over Memorial Day weekend this year. It was a rainy afternoon and I was lucky to find this PH fairly close to the road. Custer is one of my very favorite places to go and commune with nature..

Thanks for looking and any comments or suggestions..

Wow, this is excellent. It's good to see that wildlife like this still exists in this country.

Dennis,

Great portrait. The overcast lighting works well for you here giving nice soft lighting. I like the slight tilt of the head too.

Great shot Dennis, lovely detail and interesting to see the markings on these guys and I love the way the horns and ears seem to do a double act!

Nice one!

Dennis, That thoughtful expression is wonderful. I really like how he almost fills the frame but it doesn't feel tight and shows a bit of habitat.

Dennis,
Looks almost as tho you were recumbent in front of him leaning on your elbow and having a pleasant conversation about favorite grass for grazing or something. Another lovely shot.

Excellent! I can't recall many images of Pronghorns lying down and so relaxed. A very attractive image.

Dennis,

Nice one and I agree that Custer is great. Also fewer folks than Yellowstone.

Great light on this little guy! I love the sitting pose and the eye attention that he is paying to you! The overcast light really makes this image!

Very different pose of a pronghorn and the relaxed look - and look right at you -here makes it work very well.
