(Young Male Cheetah) De Wildt Cheetah Research Centre, South Africa
This image at 400mm and taken in jpeg ended up a little soft out of the camera. I spent a bunch of time in photoshop last year working on the image to bring out the eyes a bit more. Recent sharpening routine improvements have ended up making this a pretty nice image. Handheld Nikon D1, 80-400 VR @ 400mm, ISO 200, Program mode, 1/160 @ F6.7. Cropped slightly top and bottom and made 5:4 from both sides. Tony
