Stallion Battle in B&W

Stallions fighting for control of a harem belonging to the white stallion this past Thursday. The white won even though he is smaller.
Nikon D700, Nikon 80-200 f2.8@200mm, f5.6@1/250 sec. Converted to B&W in Picasa. Heavily overcast day.

The b/w conversion seems to accentuate the tension between these two, if that's possible! The white stallion may be smaller but he looks wiry and certainly determined. Nice composition showing them in their natural habitat.
