Green Tree Frog

I guess this is Jeremiah's little cousin. As opposed to the rather large Bull Frog, this guy is probably about 3/4 inch long.

He was very patient in posing for me on the session at the Dillo Dirt production facility. :D

I love these little guys - hopefully one day I can photograph them. A great study in green! I would prefer to see the eye and for the photo to have been taken with a smnaller aperture for more DOF.

I like the various shades of green and the overall composition. Its a neat critter- I don't see many of the up here. :D

There seems to be a lack of texture on the center of the frog's back. You seem to have adequate DOF. Not sure if its due to the placement of the flash.

I really like the little frog looking out into the distance. I don't think this would work nearly as well if the partial view of the eye wasn't included. The diagonal comp is really excellent too! The image has an overall soft slightly blurred look that I think adds to the mood of the shot. I like this quite a bit...

I like it because it is different, its not the usual front on look, really enjoy the study in green. Thanks for the post Jim..

I really like this. The BG works well with the frog and the softness and fact that he is looking away give it a nice tranquil feel. I'm wondering what he is thinking :D

I think this is a really cool shot -- it differs nicely from the usual frog shot of including the face. I can't really find anything about it that I don't like.
