I still don't have a cheetah quite the way I would like, but this is as close as I've come. (Had to post this guy to go with the leopard and hyenas for all the big spotted African predators!) Taken in the Serengeti, 2002. No question about the sharpness, even with the 1.4; in the original you can see the tsetse flies quite clearly and the grass partially in front of his face. Wish I had a bit more room in front (full frame as usual for me) and wish the eyes caught better light but ... Just have to go back and try again!
