 Hello NatureScapes: Looks like things are going well for the first week here..  This is another harp seal image from my trip to the Madgelan Islands in March. This is about an 11-12 day old pup, getting pretty big now. 40% fat in the milk translates into very rapid growth. By three weeks the seal pups are on their own on the ice, eventually to later enter the water. Thanks for looking and any comments or suggestions. Have a great weekend NatureScapers...
