Cheetah
Maasai Mara, Kenya

I hope no one is getting tired of the big cats. This is the same cat from Cindys Cheetah post-Queen. We were driving across the plains and saw her on this termite mound surveying the landscape. It is a typical pose for cheetahs in this area.

I must've been in a different vehicle this day, don't have her on the mound like this! Wonderful behavioural and environmental image.
This cat is featured on BBC's Big Cat Diaries but they give her a different name- can't remember what it is.

The composition is great. It must be wonderful to watch these big cats hunt.

I tend to like my images a bit darker than most people so this looks just a bit bright to me, particularly on its chest and belly. (Yes, I have a calibrated monitor.)

Looks to me like it's Amber :)

Great shot Cheryl. Pose is superb. I'd love to get a wild one like this.

Superb photograph in every respect. Great composition, interesting subject, tack sharp, nice dark background. I am green with envy. And no, we are not getting tired of looking at these gorgeous cats.

I really like this a lot. Cheetas are cool cats anyway but light like this makes her just glow! I love your composition too, and the termite mound rounds it out perfectly.

Very nice. Cheetahs are my favorite and I like this a lot. I also like the lightness of this cheetah, especially against the dark background.
