I remembered this shot yesterday when it was nearly 100 degrees and high humidity. Obviously I did not shoot this yesterday but last winter. This guy was a frequent visitor at the feeders I keep. Maybe not the greatest portrait I have but the snowflake on the head with pattern detail was kinda unique. I have some with the entire face covered in snow. It is good to remember snow these days.

Green leaf in front of the arms is my only nit. I love the snowflake-hat. Cute factor is up there for this one.

Great shot Steve. The snowflakes are a nice touch, but it's that expression that gets me. :D

Great shot Steve! I really like the snowcrystal on the head and the xpression is great. The only thing dectracting from this excellent portrait is the OOF "twig" in front.

Gorgeous - you can even see all 6 points of the snowflake on his head - incredible detail.

Cute expression but the snowflake puts it over the top.

I have absolutely no problem with the green twig and in fact, said to myself upon opening, "That really gives perspective to the activity." Aren't differing opinions great?!

One more "wow" for that single six-pointed snowflake. Really cute and makes the shot. Like the paws too and wish that the branch wasn't there so they were more prominent.

Steve,

I like it and the green leaf does not bother me.
