Logan Pass, Glacier NP a couple of years ago.

We first saw this ram skylined on a distant peak as we headed up the trail toward Hidden Lake. We kept looking back at him and realized he was coming down and heading right toward us so we just stopped on the trail. He eventually crossed the trail about 50 feet in front of us in nice morning light. The dark sky background is an approaching storm cloud. He even stopped and posed for us!

All comments greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Allen
Nice shot. I really like the stormy sky in the background, spotlighting the subject. I am going to Glacier in about a month, and thanks for the preview.

Great shot, Alan!

The storm clouds in the background puts it over the top for me.

I *love* the lighting here. The Ram really jumps out against that stormy blue background.

Very nice Provia colors; might consider selectively sharpening the eye a hair more or some of the facial features.
