An image from a local Mass Audubon sanctuary. I think I needed more depth of field. Thanks for any comments.

Hi, Tom!

Some images do work when the subject is turned away from the camera. This one does for me because it makes me feel like I'm looking into the rabbit's world. (That's subjective, though.)

One thing that I really like about it is the layers of green, very dark at the top and graduating downward. Very nice!

I think the DOF is fine. Looking towards the camera would be great but as Heather noted, this could work as well. Maybe just a bit more towards us would be perfect. His eyes are just slightly soft on my monitor and a bit more sharpening might bring that out

Cheers

I think the DOF is fine, there is a slight color cast due to being shadowed and personally I would prefer more of a head turn but I do like the image as is.

Nice shot Tom. I too would prefer a little turn of the head, but still works as is. Well done.

I really like this; I think the look-away angle works here because I can imagine some uses for this photo as is with a slight amount more selective sharpening.
