This young bear from Katmai was orphaned this year--our guide said he was way too young to be on his own. We saw him a few times and sure hope he made it through the summer. He was quite the showoff here with his fish carcass!!! Thanks for looking. Joan

Nice exposure on this little Bruin! It looks like he is chewing "bubble gum"!!
If he gets enough fish scraps he will be OK!! It looks like he is about a 1 1/2 years old.

Thanks for posting a bear cub..Good detail here and especially nice light in the eyes. I like the detail on the rocks in front of him also. The tongue position is comical... My eye is drawn to the fish because it is so white and I just am toying with the idea of grabbing some gray from the rocks and touching up the fish just a little to tone it down.. so as to keep my attention on the main subject... Thats about all I can think to suggest.. Great shot again..

Yes the fish is a bit washed, but this cool looking and comical guy plus some nice comp makes up for that!!!

Just a bit on the bright side but otherwise very nice.

Looks like he's giving you a Bronx cheer. Claws and barnicles are nice touches. I would be tempted to isolate the fish and then just burn it in a bit; probably give the same result as Dennis's suggestion.
