At the beginning of August I spent a few days at Custer State Park S.D. I spent one morning and one evening photographing the Prairie Dogs. Sitting and laying in the dog town (actually hoping for some aerial action) I managed to take away a few keepers. Hope you enjoy this one.

Wonderful looking light, and love the depth to this one Bill.
I keep flip flopping on the amount of space above, but still, I like this one!!! :)

Watch out for Monkey Pox :-). nicely crafted and the negative space is fine with me.

The BG is wonderful and the pose, quite typical! I like it! No way would I get on the ground near a dog colony (too many fleas!) Might consider reducing contrast a bit and giving it a little more space on the bottom. :)

Bill good work, I really like the background and very sharp. This is one of the sentinel dogs, and you always wish they would bark just as you pop the shutter. Hasnt happened for me.. but one can always wish.. Good going..

Nice shot Bill. Would agree a tad less contrast would improve it tho', but I do like it.

Well done. Nice alert pose as he keeps watch. Nice colors but again a bit less contrast would make it a little nicer. I do like the comp as is.
