Bighorn Sheep - Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada
EOS 1D, 70-200 w/1.4x @ 280mm, 1/400, f/5.6, Fill Flash, ISO 200

Another Bighorn from last Octobers trip to Jasper National Park. In order to get the steam in the picture, a backlit situation was sought and then the ram was filled in with flash to get the desired effect.

EJ,

This is exquisite. Both of your bighorn shots have been just wonderful. The steam in the picture makes the shot for me.

Lovely. My only nit is the somewhat bright OOF area in the FG on the lower right.

E.J., At first I thought you had discovered a ram with a nicotine habit. Thanks for sharing info on your technique, that worked really well for you here!
