The light on this scene was very overcast and flat so I thought B&W with some more contrast was the way to go for this image. Prins Christian Sund in southern Greenland is fantastic!.

This works very well in black and white-I can see the reasoning. Lovely composition and perspective. Love the clouds. I'd be curious what the color photo looks like too, even id rather dull.

Great mood and beautiful landscape, I like how the clouds touch the mountains. Was there any wildlife in the area?

We didn't see any wildlife other than an occasional bird. This is a prime fishing area with whales and other sea life. Most of the villages in Greenland are fishing villages. Thanks for you comments.

I thought I would comment on this version,as I also think it is the better image.Love those clouds and the overall mood you have captured in this shot.
