One of the most cooperative coyotes that I have ever encountered at Bosque. He had no fear at all. This guy seemed to be having a good time with the coyote! Image taken last Monday.

Anyone would think he'd just let his dog out, Joe!

I doubt it, Cindy. They are just so accustomed to people all day long every day that they know we pose no harm. If this is the same coyote, he once was eating a Snow Goose up a closed off road while a group of school children were at the Dabbler Deck. He finished and walked within a few feet of them. I reassured them that he would not harm them. He then went up the road with an entourage of six cars following and proceeded to catch a duck out of the air and, when he finished eating that, he walked on the road right next to us without a care. He also walked by my truck on another occasion and proceeded to harass a bobcat and I got that on video. He is a character for sures!
