I came across this image, that I took a few years back, while going through my files today. I don't usually shoot this type of image but while searching for Snowy Owls I came across this scene shortly after sunrise after a light snow the night before. I was actually attracted by the fence lines more than the barn.  Unfortunately, the barn has since been refurbished and the fence is no longer there.

Happy New Year everyone.

Beautiful composition, Warren and I love that early morning light quality.  Like you, I am drawn straight away to that wonderful wonky fence line and not the barn.  I almost wish the barn wasn't there.  :)

Lovely scene-I like the fence AND the barn-it looks like it was quite elegant at one time with those rounded windows. The light is beautiful -so soft with those wispy clouds. Too bad the fence is gone. I wonder what the barn looks like now....

I like the winter light, interesting barn, particularly the windows and I can see that you liked the fence.

The soft winter light is king, but the composition is really beautiful.

So pretty!
Glad you captured this before the changes.
Really like how the leaning fence line leads to the old barn

Thank you very much for the Editor's Pick. It was posted several weeks ago so it was a nice surprise seeing it as one of the picks. Much appreciated.

The classic look. Very enjoyable.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
