Taken through the windshield of my husband's car while traveling on Interstate 89 going towards Burlington VT.  Typical scenery on this highway-beautiful mountains, etc. This was a very foggy day however. I cleaned this up a bit to remove wiper blade marks, etc.
As usual a click presents a better view.

Beautiful image Cindy. In some regard, its just good to see a snapshot into the area as much as in its own right of the grandeur of scenery and the rugged raw elements. Nice one.

Cynthia you manage to make an everyday common scene into a work of art.
That slightly soft effect gives it a pictorial aspect worthy of a painting.

Thanks Mary- it was a fair bit of tweaking-perhaps should have been in P&DA , but I liked the idea of it's being here.

I love this, Cindy!  As soon as I opened it I could hear in my head an old song from 1986 - ''Driving home for Christmas'' by Chris Rea.  Now of course, I can't get it out of my head!  If you do a search and listen to it, I think you will see what I mean.  :)   Lovely effects with the damp and dreary winter conditions - and I love what it does to the vehicle lights.  As Mary so rightly said, it is a work of art.  A beauty!

I wish the snow was still here- we just had a big rainstorm and it's all gone! I hope we get some more for Christmas....
Thanks for your comment.

We had snow for one day - then the rain washed it away.  I don't mind if it doesn't come again........... :)

I really like how this turned out.
The streaky lights give a cold rainy feeling.

Great shot! Drama in the sky. Action on the road. Inclement weather… It's a real wonderful mix.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
