Lightning!!!!

Taken a few years ago in my local city park. I shot this from the bed of my truck under the bed cover sheltered from the rain.

Canon EOS-3, no clue on lens...

(Be kind, I won't be back till Sunday....) :)

Did you use a lightning sensor or just keep the shutter open ?

Ken,
I am jealous. ONe day, I will get some good lightning shots. I have only one and it is a storm in the distance over the everglades with a weak bolt of lightning. Nothing as dramatic as this. Great image.

very cool indeed. Love the exposure - well handled. I'm with Steve: did you have any kind of radio-detector on the shutter, or was it just held open?
