Olympus E-M5 - (converted to 720nm IR):

Infrared - then converted to B&W using Silver Efex: 12-40 f/2.8 @12mm, 1/1000 sec., f/3.5, ISO: 200

From a walk in the park on May 1st, 2020.

Minto-Brown is a 1200 acre city park with over 15 miles of trails and paved paths. It was where I shot the pictures I've posted of the Ospreys in the spring last year. It allowed me to get a little exercise during the times when my gym was closed and is in any case a delightful place just to be outdoors - especially when so many of my favorite hiking trails were closed last year.

I think IR takes a lot of getting used to- and I'm not very used to it! The values seem very well done in this pretty scene. IR makes it look snowy to my unpracticed eye-I'd be curious how this looks in color. Your description and photo makes it seem like a very inviting place.

I can't get my head round IR photography, for me it loses so much fine detail and tonal quality.  Nature provides us with an infinite colour palette and such beauty, but I know there are those who like IR, and good luck to them! :)

Instead I love IF photography madly.
I am sorry I do not have a camera where I can make it in the shot.
I love this beautiful image of yours, I like the IR effect on the leaves
and the whole light of the composition.
The path that goes through the trees is also very well chosen.
This must be a really enchanted place.
