Pian Piccolo is separated from Pian Grande
by the village that was once Castelluccio di Norcia.

The Piana of Castelluccio is not only stunning in the period
of the famous "infiorata" which takes place approximately in June.
I have visited this place in other seasons
and it always give extraordinary emotions.

A lovely landscape image, Mary. The clouds are wonderful and almost appear three dimensional. Beautifully done!

Beautiful landscape Mary. Can almost feel the clouds rolling by. Well worth looking at the larger image. Well done.

Yes, this is where it belongs with all those cultivated fields, and I love the patchwork of colours and the play of light and shadows on the landscape, Mary!

A spectacular sight, Mary! The clouds are so beautiful, and I love the sweep of the land with all the patchwork fields. The whole picture has a lovely rhythm to it-a sense of motion with those moving clouds. You must feel very good to see such beauty.
