A lovely scene in a nice setting-looks like quite a bit of snow. I find the sun star a bit overwhelming. The scene has plenty to offer without it.

Really like this one Michael.
My first thought was exactly the same as Cynthia's about the sunstar....if it was just a tad smaller, this would be a cracker of an image.

Gorgeous scene and light, Mike - just get rid off that sun star which looks like its eating chunks out of the trees...........

Wonderful snowy landscape and what a beautiful day!
Maybe, for my taste, I would not have taken the upper end of the trunk in the foreground,
perhaps lowering the shot I would have excluded the final part of the trunk and the sun.
But that's just my opinion.

Very pretty winter scene. Exposure is handled well given the direct into the sun shooting here.

Great job getting all this detail shooting against the light.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
