This is the second shot I show you taken in 2016 from Monte Lagazuoi.
To my left I had the group of Tofane illuminated by the setting sun (you can see the previous shot here).
In front of me, the Lagazuoi refuge almost wrapped in clouds, blown by the really strong wind.

Had to move this wonderful photo to Travel and Culture due to the human built structure in the photo.

So much to enjoy in the larger view, Mary, this wonderful image has a timeless quality that I love. It could be 50 years ago, or this year, as we see the beautiful mountains under that moody sky.

Stunning shot- so amazing to see such a place-I can't begin to imagine what life is like there. You really bring this place to life, especially for those of us who have never seen it or anything like it.

Thanks Cynthia, I am glad that you enjoy :) .
The place is very beautiful and characteristic (each country in the world has its own wonderful characteristics).
It is one of the few places that up to now I have been able to visit,
I don't know if and when I will be able to return, but if I return I will stay there.
Life is healthy and community principles are very strong.

Thanks Peter,
I would love to visit England, Scotland and Ireland, but it will certainly be a boat that I will never take ... :(

Beautiful scene. I like the low saturated colors and the moody sky. Congratulations on the Editor's Pick.
