To defray their costs (and make a bit more profit) Globus Tours - which is the tour company I used for my European trip - deposits the busload of tourists in commercial places of business along the itinerary where, presumably, many will wish to purchase the products on offer.  Some are more interesting than others but, being penurious and saving what few Euros I had for food, I bought nothing ... just gawked.

At one of these tourists drop off establishments in Bavaria - the House of Black Forest Clocks Adolf Herr E. K. - I wandered about and admired the workmanship of the carved cuckoo clocks in the store. Much was interesting and was visually fascinating but nothing interested me as much as the salesgirl (a college student working there over the summer). I was then old enough to be her grandfather but my age has never stopped me from admiring that which I think is attractive.

Next to the store is the Hornberger Uhrenspiele.

A cuckoo clock in the house would really get on my nerves, but they do some beautiful wood carving, which is more appealing to me.   Mike, you're incorrigible............ I trust they had a sign on your tour bus saying ''Lock up your daughters, Mike on board!''

Carol, LOL, There were times in my younger life when I behaved rather forwardly when it comes to women ... but never with disrespect that I can recall. However, now that I'm old, overweight, and bald I try to convey my appreciation to those of the fair sex I find myself attracted to with a little more savoir faire than in days of old. Just can't eliminate flirting from time-to-time however  :).

Interesting sight- I like the carved figures. Not sure how appropriate the inclusion of your attractive salesgirl is, in this particular gallery.  At least it is an aside. :?

Cynthia,

I agree. I've edited the post to eliminate the image of the sales girl.
