Good leading lines towards the Isle-nice cloudy mood and soft water. Id prefer to see a little less pier, but it does give perspective.

Like David, I enjoy the mood this conveys, as well as the colors. The composition may benefit from moving the lantern out of the center and more to the left.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

The Isle of Skye is one of my favourite places in the world, and this lovely view from the pier at Elgol gives a nice hint of the magical moods to be found there, Alec!
