A monument built to celebrate 2500 years of Buddhism at 13,000 feet with a 24,000 foot Himalayan Peak lurking in the background at night...

Very impressive!  I love the way the monument building takes on an almost luminous glow in the available light against that amazing backdrop - no doubt part of your plan. :)

Excellent detail in this long exposure night shot. The monument is perfectly exposed while still showing detail in the mountain. Great job as usual!

Wonderful how luminous the building looks on that dark mountain. So dramatic! What an amazing place it must be.

Wow, this is so neat. The modern against an ancient mountain. What is the green on the side of wall?
