Jaali means perforated stone or Latticed Screen, a form of architectural decoration commonly used in Indo-islamic or in Islamic architecture. This Jaali helps to lower the temperature by compressing the air in its way through the holes of the screen. When the air passes through these openings, its velocity increases giving immense diffusion and it feels colder. When sunlight comes through this Jaali inside the building, it looks dreamy like this.
