Nothing special here other than my recollection of one more case of my wishing I had more time to photograph in this city. We had a few hours to wander around town on our own and I really liked the look of the houseboats, the canal, and the buildings in general.

Short story: I took a streetcar/trolley just before ending up at the location in the image and when I put my currency in the machine on board I thought some of the passengers were giving me strange looks ... turns out (after talking to several of my fellow travelers that evening at dinner) that I'd most likely put my money in the children's fare machine. Well gee, I'm just a kid at heart! Fortunately I was not thrown off the streetcar.

Excellent! I really like the way you captured the feeling of the crowded canal. Nice job on the depth of field.

Nicely seen- a great feel for how it must be there with so many boats and cars. I like the perspective. Your stories are always interesting too!

Well done! You've really captured the essence of the Amsterdam canals with this very nice view, Mike. A lovely feel to this one.

I'm with you, there's a lot to be said for being a kid at heart!

Carol.
