The Roman Colosseum

Canon 30D, 17-40 f/4 @17mm, 1/500 sec., f/8.0, ISO: 200

I stitched a few images together to try to get a view that represented what I felt I saw when in the Colosseum. I'm not sure I was completely successful but I'm satisfied with this image. It was taken on Bastille Day in 2007.

I'd walked around a while looking for a POV where the fewest tourists would be annoyingly close in the final image. This was what I settled for.

You did very well with this one, Mike. I really get a feel for the whole Colosseum-it tweaks my imagination, thinking of what might have occurred there. Excellent!
