I went to the U.P. late last summer and my only chance to visit Bond Falls was early afternoon. I was happy to be out and on a viewing platform and shooting when the clouds covered the sun. This fisherman came out of nowhere and reminded me of an animal checking out its "trap line" as he worked his way through the scene. I had several shots but only a couple that were sharp given the slow shutter speed to blur the water.

Absolutely love the resultant water texture using this shutter speed....and being an avid flyfisherman...love the image!
Thoughts to slightly burning the fisherman's waders and blue shirt to make him stand out more?

What a fabulous vista and place to fish. Gotta be pleased with this Scott with the ss and retained sharpness of the fly fisherman. all the best for Xmas and the New Year

This is a delightful scene- the fisherman adds much to the mood with his colorful shirt and ready pose. The green bush in the corner is also nice for some color, and the rushing water exposure is great. I can almost feel the spray of the waterfall. :).

Thanks, John, that's a good and appreciated suggestion.
