I love the way the tendrils of nature are reclaiming the old barn in the background, Bill, and no doubt when the owner first got this wonderful machine he must have thought he was really making progress in the modern world!    Nicely done.

I always find it fascinating to look around old abandoned farm buildings - a real peep into yesterday.  :)

A very interesting looking contraption — nicely photographed. Looks to me like it may pre-date the 1950’s.

One of the neat things about the making of this image is that the post-processing mirrored the image's theme: pulling the image of the machine out of the shadows was very much like rescuing it from the ravages of neglect!

What a charming old device- you do it justice by creating a certain mood of decay and beauty at the same time. It would be so cool to have seen this in action- your photo makes me wish I could.
