This is a famous falls in the gorge of Watkins Glen State Park, NY. Usually the fall season is not the best for water volume in the gorge, but with all the rain we have had I decided to give it a try.  Water was flowing well and the fallen leaves add a perspective not usually photographed.  5D4 with 16-35 at 24 ISO 400 f8 and polarizer.

This one’s so nice! I love everything about it. The water, the colors, DOF, hint of sky, etc.

We've seen these falls and view several times in this gallery, Ed - and this great shot is right up there with the best of them! Beautifully done!

Thank you Carol and Joe for the kind comments. Yes this is an iconic location and shot in our area. It is difficult to get a fresh perspective, other than season, time of day and amount of water in the falls, as the trail forces you to one or two shot locations. That said, it always impresses me as looking like a rain forest scene in New York State. Thanks again for commenting.

Lovely rich colors, Ed- a real gem- so nice to get the bright leaves on the dark rocks. Beautiful glow beyond the bridge too. Gorgeous shot!

Wow! Thanks for the Editors' Pick. I am honored to have been selected. I was away from home over the weekend and what a great surprise to return home to.
