Colors are fading fast, and I didn't get out when they were peak. But I liked this little scene-it's a place I frequent, mostly looking for migrant ducks. The paved road is, strangely enough, a short dead end and leads mostly to a boat launch. Birders love it as a place to park and observe. It was windy and pouring rain yesterday, but I just had to get out!

As usual, please view uncompressed.

Proper autumn scene Cindy. Bit of rain, soft colours and wind. Your image shows it off very well.

You are fortunate to be able to frequently travel to this lovely location, Cindy. Love the autumn color, the leaves on the road, and the view of the water. Beautiful image!

I love these little peeps into your home county, Cindy. I can feel the damp, autumn air and the beautiful smell of the rain washed trees and earth, while the wind stirs the branches overhead and detatches more colourful leaves to tumble to the ground. A lovely scene!

This is so representative of the changing of the seasons...not only the colors of the leaves...but the fact that some branches are already bare...and of course the misty rainy weather.
nicely done.
