Just disembarked the Rembrandt van Rijn, a 3 mast schooner after 12 days cruising the fjords of East Greenland. Much more to come from this vast land...

What a beautiful scene! I love the foreground colours of the plants and lichens on the rugged rocks, and then my eye is taken nicely to the little schooner, icebergs and distant vista. This image really brings home to me just how insignificant man is, in the overall scheme of things, and yet we are having such a devastating impact on the world around us.

Nice photo.

Welcome back from Greenland. We returned from Greenland just about the time you arrived. We are in awe of it's photographic beauty and look forward to seeing more of your photos from this vast place. An article about your trip on your website would be just lovely too :-)

Love the dramatic contrast with the colorful foreground and the icy water. The ship looks so small-gives a god perspective. I have to wonder if those are melting icebergs that shouldn't be.....hard to imagine what is going on in Iceland and Greenland...indeed, all of the North....

Beautiful frame with excellent composition, and many compositional elements - just what I like the most. Look forward to more from your trip.
