The western rose window at Amiens.  Taken from close-up, handheld with 5D2 and 24-105 (mk2).

An anecdote...  I was first at Amiens back in 2017 (a day or two after the Notre Dame de Paris picture I posted yesterday).  Unfortunately, I screwed up my shot of the facade that day.  (Take note, the TSE is a manual focus lens...  I've forgotten that more than once, but that was the only time I hadn't remembered while still on site!)  So when I had a few spare days in France last month on the way home from a business trip, and I decided not to be in Paris on the Saturday (due to concerns about the Gilets Jaunes), my destinations for the day in a rental car had to include Amiens, to reshoot the facade.  And this time, I had time to go up the towers, too.

I can't make up my mind if the lens flare adds or detracts, but the perspective here suits the design and lines of the window beautifully!

+1- an amazing angle of view. It looks massive-very cool to see the structure up close.
