I really like the perspective — viewing Harper’s Ferry low in the distance through the rock formations.

Very nice high elevation shot. A bit crunchy due to JPEG compression but otherwise nice!

Thanks E.J. yes, I did notice the quality decrease after I compressed it.

Excellent perspective on this view from the rocks on high.
I like how well the river creates a nice "s" curve and leads the eye back. Looks very muddy- lots of rain/flooding? (I am not familiar with this place).

Thanks Cynthia! Yes, the flooding was receding. Floods are common here. It's where the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers meet.

Great composition. Pulls my eye right in and keeps it busy.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
