Derwentwater - Lake District, England
GFX-50R, 32-64mm @ 37mm (~29mm FF equiv), ISO 100, f/16, 1.5s

I was driving back to my accommodations along the edge of Derwentwater when the sky started to light up.  I remembered seeing this jetty near a place where you could actually park earlier in the day so I hastily made my way to the spot to get this shot...

So lovely! Great thinking to get there in time. I especially like the bright streak across the edge of the water-not sure why...but I like it!

A classic Lake District jetty view! Made really special by that wonderful emerging light. A scene that brings to mind 'where there's light, there's hope'. Beautifully done, E.J.
