An airbase nearby was having an airshow and we figured we could see the flybys while enjoying a nice spring day hike.

I hope things got a bit more interesting when the show started, Dan.  :)

I did Cynthia - the Thunderbirds were making their turns nearby so I was able to get some shots of them - we had wanted to hike to a hill that was closer to the show but a herd of cattle was blocking the gate while protecting a bull calf who was stubbornly not moving.  A bunch of us tried to get them to cooperate but no had no luck.

Carol.

We hiked to another part of the park, near a marsh, so the view was abit more interesting, and though the jets didn't get near us they were close enough to enjoy.
