Street Scene

A little Scheimpflug / HDR experiment...

I'm not normally one for street shooting, but I wanted to try an experiment.  Being HDR it's on a tripod, which is not normal for street shooting.  (And this is from an earlier trip than the last shot I posted, so it was the big, heavy Gitzo.)

In case it's not obvious, this is in Paris, near St. Severin (a couple blocks from Notre Dame).

Canon 5D2, 24TSE MkII.

I rather like this- interesting to see what is in focus and what is not. It's nice that the in-focus part extends into the distance to give a sense of what's back there. It would make a good rainy scene, though it obviously isn't raining. That's the feel I get though. Reminds me of some watercolors I enjoy. Bravo for experimenting.
