I know its only March, but this makes me hope that spring is just around the corner.  We've had enough of this crazy winter weather with its cold and grey tone vistas.......... we want spring with its wonderful variety of shades of green and the emerging blossoms to lift the spirit.  Then your beautiful countryside will burst into life.     Very nice composition, Cindy, with the view through the foreground trees towards the distant mountains.  :)

Thanks Carol. I actually like winter here, for the most part- everything is so smooth and clean when the snow is fresh. It covers up a lot of (sometimes) unsightly debris.  But yes, I will welcome spring.  :)

I agree with you 100% on the beauty of the blanket of snow covering all life's discarded rubbish.  When its pristine, its magical!.........but then it eventually thaws and leaves the cr*p behind...... :)

Peaceful!

I suspect I'd trade your winter for ours--we had the coldest February in 40 years, so I hear... (Walking the dog at -38°C is fun!)

wow- that's cold. We've had our share this year though. Everything spring is about a month late.
