Salmon Fishing

Taken in Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula.

My wife tried to time me catching a good jumper.  I was very surprised by the result.

Canon EOS 20D + 17-40mm lens at 22mm
1/350sec   f16

Great catch! ;). Love the whole feel of this-especially the arc of the pole and the jumping fish. Looks like a beautiful place too.

Looks like she's done very well, Paul! Good angle and great capture of this fighting, leaping salmon, and with the bent rod its immediately obvious what is happening.
